His story changed my view a little but i already knew it was cruel i just didnt know they brainwashed little kids. The reason why he wanted to tell his story was so people knew what war was really like.
ReplyDeleteEven before I started to read this book I thought war was bad but know knowing that there were 9 and 10 year olds killing people it made war sound like the devils play ground x2. Also to make war even worse the adult shoulders even gave kids drugs so they don’t feel anything that is just sick.
ReplyDeleteHis story changed maybe a little of my perspective on war. I had always known that war was a bad thing and killing is one of the worst things a person could do. I never thought that war could have kids being drugged, being killed, or killing on their own. To me, war was just a cruel thing I never knew the effects it could have on someone. After watching this video and reading Ishmael's book it changed my view on how war could effect some part of the future in someone's life.

ReplyDeleteThis story kind off changed my view about war because i think that war is bad to anyone not olny kids and making yonug kids joinong war changes a kids life.THey make them fight and kill other people. Kids have to kill to save there lives.When i read the first six chapers and after i saw this video it changed my view on what war is really about and i think he wrote this book and did this video because he wanted to let pople how war is really like and what happen to him when he was just a kid.(Daniela Gonzalez)
